Well, now that it’s over…

Date December 8, 2004

Who’d have thought this day would ever come?  I mean… I certainly didn’t.  After seven (yeah, seven) years, I’m finally graduating from college.  Come December 18, 2004, I will officially be degree’d.

The last couple of months have been busy to say the least.  That probably has something to do with the fact that I put a lot of things off until the last minute, and well, we know what that leads to.  It’s different - this finishing off a semester and not thinking ahead to the classes that will be starting in January.  I’m not sure the school-related aspects of graduating have completely hit me yet.

But the life-related aspects have… like a ton of bricks!  What am I supposed to do now??  A psychology degree of the bachelor-type doesn’t open a huge wealth of doors in the mental health industry.  I knew this to be the case when I decided to get a psych degree.  So why have I done absoultely *nothing* to get myself prepared (and accepted into) grad school?  A couple of years ago I debated taking a semester off between undergrad and graduate work.  I guess I decided to do that unconsciously.  Haha.

So just when I thought the work was over… it really begins…
