What’s your excuse?

I get attitude at the gas station… I get attitude at work… I get attitude from strangers…
Why so much attitude these days? And why is it that the people who have so much ‘tude have so little reason to do so? Are they compensating for something? Are they bitter about their lot in life? Do I remind them of the person who ran over their puppy? What?
If you’re unhappy because you work at a gas station and think you should be doing something more worthy of your status, don’t give me attitude… get a new job. If you think you’re worthy of admiration and special treatment because you’ve got the nicest car in your neighborhood, don’t give me attitude… you’re no one special. Believe me. None of us are.
Now just sell me my damn Mt. Dew and get on with your bitter, unhappy life…
