This Apartment is Such a Drag

Have you seen the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil?

If so, then you know who The Lady Chablis is. If not, do a Google search… she’s out there.

I think she just moved into my apartment building. When I woke up I could see through the closed curtains that the sun was shining. I figured it was a beautiful day and that I should open up and let in the light. When I pulled the curtains back, I realized I wasn’t the only one out enjoying the day.

The Lady Chablis was standing outside my apartment in a two piece bathing suit. Granted, she’d aged about 10 years and had turned white… but it was her. I know it was. She’s obviously decided to hide her candy in the apartment two doors down… which is just fine by me… she seems like she’d be a hoot!

First it was Buffalo Bill… now The Lady Chablis. I think Springfield is slowly becoming a Mecca for eccentric, semi-famous folks. Or maybe I’m just noticing these things to try and make Springfield more interesting than it really is.

Think about it… Buffalo Bill and The Lady Chablis in a showdown? Two things are guaranteed: only one will survive… and there will definitely be a lot of ball-tucking going on….
