Disturbing Events

I’ve got a two’fer today. Ya know… two things that I’m gonna talk about? Oh come on… you know what a two’fer is. Don’t lie.

The first has to do with my abusive patient that I talked about a couple of days ago.

Remember this guy? Not only has he assaulted a grand total of four people at the hospital, including another patient last night, but he also told me today that he wanted to slam my head in the door. And later he said he was going to beat me to death with the chair I was sitting in. And last, but not least, he told me he was going to find me in a dark alley some day and beat me so bad that it’d take two weeks for my jaw to reattach (whatever that means).

For one… I got to wrestle with him a little today. He’s not that tough. Two… I don’t hang out in many dark alleys. People of his social network might. Maybe that’s where drug dealers and whores spend a lot of time. But not me. So he’ll have to come to the other side of the tracks if he wants to find me. And luckily I live right across the street from a hospital now. For whoever ends up getting beat down.

And then there’s PornoTube.com… which also disturbs me, but in a totally different way.

It’s YouTube with a spin. A spank-me- do-me- pee-on-me- and-record-it-all-for-the-entire-world-to-see kinda spin. Yes, folks. There is now a website available to post all of your dirty homemade videos on. It’s actually disturbing how many videos they have (and no… I didn’t watch them all myself… there’s a counter at the bottom of the Video page). I had no idea that many people made home porn. Oh… and they have absolutely no age-verification procedure of any kind. It’s open and free for all. So bookmark it for your 15 year old kids to surf.

The interest in porn has always eluded me. For one… it’s the epitome of “too much info”. I have a hard enough time sleeping without all of that mess. But what perplexes me even more is the fact that those who watch porn usually do so when they’re in an avaricely sexual mood themselves. Why would you want to watch other people do what you’d like to be doing? When you’re craving ice cream do you watch movies of other people eating ice cream? No. You go get ice cream. So why bother with PornoTube?

Just go uh… get ice cream…
