Playing Catch Up

Date August 14, 2006

I guess the extent of a vacation doesn’t just apply to a break from the physical routine: work, social life, and daily comings and goings. I spent last week with my parents and my brother. It was a fairly eventful week for me. We spent time at the river (where I contracted a lovely sunburn that I’m trying to turn into a tan), a casino, and more than a few hours just enjoying the country. It was a nice break. Below are a couple of images from the beautiful Current River. The water is crystal clear and the bottom is gravel. No muddy waters here!

I’m home now and getting back into the swing of things, including my online ramblings. As a precursor to an upcoming post, let me pose a question:

What do you know about muffin tops?

OK. Now I’m thinking of Elaine and whenever I think of her, I think of Elaine dancing. Ewww. Thanks. Hope you had a nice vacation.

Muffin tops like the edible kind? Or, muffin tops like where girls where their pants too tight and they get that ‘muffin look’ at their back waistband? lol :)

[...] It’s quite possible that I am the last person on the planet to know about the “muffin top”. Melissa knew about it. I think Richard knew about (even though he expressed it in a very old-man-like way). I’m sure Dagny knew about this meaning, too. My sister knew. As usual, I’m the last to find these things out.
