Group Writing Project Day 2
May 9, 2007
Today has been busier than most. Between work, the season finale of Jericho, and working on Reader Meet Author, I haven’t had a chance to read through all 200+ submissions for Day 2 of ProBloggers Group Writing Project. I did want to briefly mention a couple that I think are definitely worth a read, though.
Top 5 Reasons NOT to Get Married - Kerri Aldrich
Her take on marriage seems to be a little different than mine. Nonetheless, I got a kick out of her post. If you think I’m a little too critical of the institution of marriage you might find Kerri’s outlook more your style.
Well played Britney… Well Played: Top Five Reasons Why Britney Exposing Herself Was a Business Move - Kevin @ Pointless Banter
I’ve never kept my feelings about Britney Spears a secret. Kevin takes it to the next level in his post. I’m not sure what made me laugh more - the post itself or the picture of a barefoot Britney trying to pull the door to a public bathroom right out of someone else’s hand at the bottom of the post. Regardless, this one made me laugh.
I’d love to have been able to make it through the entire list and post a few more… but it’s going to have to wait. I was up later than I should have been last night and spent much of the day phasing in and out of consciousness. If I pull another all-nighter I might just cease to exist.
Check out the full list of Day 2’s submissions.

Thanks so much for the link. I’m glad that you enjoyed the list and shared it, despite the different outlooks on marriage. :) I’m now heading over to your “Crap…That a Great Idea!” post as the teaser in the sidebar is already making me laugh. :P

I got an email after posting “Crap… That’s a Great Idea!” from a PR firm that handles a very similar product.
So, sadly, I can’t invent it and retire young. But I might still get one to take to work with me… haha!
